We shall depart Kampala in the morning and take Eastern route for a stretch of about 80kms through Mukono town where you can have a stopover for breakfast and then continue with the journey at a relaxed speed, branch off from the highway to Sezibwa falls located in Buikwe district.
As so approaching the falls, you will be welcomed by the roars of the falls, this has cultural attachment and its believed to have been born by a woman who gave birth to twins, one in form of a snake and another was a river that flowed and named Ssezibwa.
We shall have a chance of having a nature walk around the falls, through designated trails and the falls are all surrounded by green trees that are always receiving moistures from the falls.
There are opportunities of bird watching for different bird species found in the forest.
After, depart the falls and head off to Jinja through Mabira Forest, the only rain forest we have in Uganda, we shall have lunch break at the Rain forest lodge and then in the evening, go for a nature walk in Mabira forest for 2-3 hrs here we expect to see Primates like monkeys that are seen swinging in the tree branches throughout the walk and a variety of birds found in the forest.
The walk will extent to the Griffin Falls, downstream the river and you will see different plants, learn their botanical names and their importance. We shall continue to Jinja through sugarcane and tea plantations of Metha Group reaching Jinja in the evening Supper and overnight at Nile Hotel.
In the Morning after breakfast, we shall head off to the Itanda Falls, you will have a chance of seeing people raft through the rapids, admire take photos and then depart proceed to the Source of the Nile (Rumors at the Source) for the Boat Cruise to the Source where water comes out of the ground in form of a fountain joined by waters from lake Victoria.
